
Municipal Clerks’ Continuing Education Conference
Rutgers University's Center for Government Services is pleased to partner with the Municipal Clerks' Association of New Jersey and IIMC Region II to present the 2026 Municipal Clerks' Continuing Education Conference at Resorts in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Designed for municipal clerks, the conference provides an opportunity to strengthen skills, explore current best practices, and earn continuing education credits toward recertification. Attendees will benefit from engaging sessions, networking with peers, and learning in a collaborative setting.

- Two (2) Days - $308
- 2/26 & 2/27 (Thursday/Friday)
How To Register:
- Register with a Purchase Order
- Download and Complete the Conference Registration Form.
- POs, vouchers, and requisitions are accepted but MUST be signed/authorized.
- Email the completed registration form and PO to cgs@docs.rutgers.edu.
- To be registered, BOTH documents MUST be sent together.
- Make checks and purchase orders payable to: Rutgers, Center for Government Services

The Registration Deadline is Wednesday, February 18th, 2026, at 12:00 PM.
Withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing to cgs@docs.rutgers.edu by Wednesday, February 18th, 2026, at 12:00 PM to receive a refund, minus a $25 processing fee. Failure to notify CGS within the time frame will result in forfeiture of all fees. A $25 fee applies for returned checks.
Exhibitors will have the opportunity to present their products and services on Wednesday, February 25th, to an audience of over 200 professionals, including Municipal Clerks, Deputy Municipal Clerks, County Clerks, and other local government professionals.
Exhibitor Registration Includes:
- Invitation to attend Tuesday evening's MCANJ President's Reception (2/24/26)
- Conference registration for two company representatives (2/25/26)
- Includes Wednesday breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- $175 Extra Meals Fee for each additional representative.
- One six-foot skirted table with two chairs
- Standard electrical outlet
- Company description in the conference program booklet

Exhibitors can set up on Tuesday, February 24th, and will tear down after the Wednesday, February 25th, Exhibitor Reception. Set-up and tear-down information will be provided to registered vendors approximately three (3) weeks before the event.
All overnight reservations must be made, modified, or canceled directly through Resorts. Reservations must be booked by February 19, 2026 for the discounted rate of $54/night plus taxes and fees.
