Overview
The Center for Government Services at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, offers this series of coursed for individuals interested in pursuing their Registered Municipal Clerk (RMC) designation from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. It is a five-course program with an optional review course, designed to provide the necessary knowledge and skills for municipal clerks seeking to advance their careers in local government.
Course Materials
All students enrolled in Municipal Clerk courses are required to supply their own Study Guide for use in class. Effective 1/1/25, a new 4th Edition of the Study Guide updated through Supplement #4 (09/2024) is required for use in class. All orders must be submitted through General Code, publisher and distributor of the Municipal Clerk Study Guide.
