20th Annual Public Works Continuing Education Conference

This event is co-sponsored by the Rutgers University Center for Government Services and the Public Works Association of New Jersey. 

Attendees can choose to register for both days of the conference or select just one day. Please specify your choice during registration. Additionally, two special events require pre-registration. Be sure to indicate your participation in these events on the registration form or during online registration.

There are two ways to register for the conference:

1) Purchase orders/vouchers and registration forms must be sent together and e-mailed to cgs@docs.rutgers.edu. A check or voucher must accompany the registration form, made payable to Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. The registration form is available HERE.

2) Online registrations (with credit card or e-check only) are also accepted. Click HERE to register online.

*2025 Special Events* 

Conference Kick-Off Reception – Conference registrants can participate in a casual reception on Tuesday, May 13th from 5:30pm-7pm at Resorts. There is no additional fee for conference registrants to attend but you must check the box on the registration form to register. This event is only open to conference attendees and conference vendors.

Public Works Graduation & Dinner – RSVP & TICKET REQUIRED – The Public Works Association of New Jersey will host the annual graduation and dinner on Wednesday, May 14th at 5:30pm. This optional event is open to all conference attendees, but you must check the box on the registration form to receive an event ticket to be admitted to the event.

Registration Details 

Before a student is officially enrolled in a course, payment must be authorized or secured. A student who has a delinquent account with CGS will not be permitted to enroll in any additional courses or events offered by the Center until the delinquency is resolved. Withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing at least two business days before the conference start date and will incur a $25 processing fee. Withdrawals received within that time period will be refunded, minus the $25 fee. Failure to notify CGS within the time frame will result in forfeiture of all fees. There is a $25 fee for returned checks.

Conference registration will close on Friday, May 9, 2025 at 10:00 am. Late registrations will not be accepted.
